Reviewed by Trevor Kirk Tim Finch, Rachael Carey, Alan Martin, and Bob Foster, with a little help from Keith Thompson, had a thing going in the early '90s in Exmouth, Devon, which resulted in a couple of cassette albums "The World's Way of Caring" and "Pilgrim", which were released under Tim's name in 1992 and 1993. Greybeard Cummings reviewed 'World's Way...' in CR11, describing it as "thinking man's synth-rock", and the reviewer of 'Pilgrim' in CR17 gave it six squares and said it was "well worth a listen". Now this mega-value CD (11 tracks, just under 73 minutes of music for only a tenner) features the best of those two tapes, remastered from the original DATs, along with two new items, one and instrumental piece "Omnipresence", the other an eight minute magnum opus "City On A Hill", both composed and performed by Tim in his home studio in Manchester. The music has worn well; both Keith's and Rachael's vocals are excellent, the songs' message is as relevant for the 21st century as it was when they were written. These days Tim is IT manager for The Tribe, and it seems that his creative muse has been stirred into life again through being in close proximity to Manchester's finest.

This is an amazing album - a compilation of two superb recordings with incredibly relevant & meaningful lyrics, meaty, powerful music & a message that gets clearly shouted out to the listener about the state of God's world today. The tracks 'World's Way Of Caring' and 'Walk With Me' are good examples. But what makes this album really unique is the vivid atmosphere built up by some of the longer tracks like the 'Hello?' suite - these musicians show tremendous talent in this area & really should get together to produce more of this rich music, to help send God's message into the world.
