Where I come from in California, this style of alternative rock is very popular so listening to this made me homesick, even though Solihull doesn't have quite the same sunkissed vistas! The four track EP starts with a strong, pumping tune, "Maybe?", which invites you into their music. Next is a more mellow song, called "Sneak", which gives listeners time to discover that Flik are sensitive young men. Following that, in "Ctrl-alt-delete", Flik go for an upbeat approach before ending with another mellow song titled "Fling", a strong ending. This band is talented with Steve Williams' rough and chunky guitar parts, though he really needs to turn it down from 11 so that we get more opportunity to hear his voice!
