To be quite honest, this CO did not appeal to me, but I'm sure it would to many out there. I'm sure that at the event itself, the worship was very powerful and sensitive but I'm afraid this does not come across too well in its recorded form. The production lacks depth and in my opinion the songs are far too slow and, on occasion, almost dreary. Please don't get me wrong, I know how difficult it is to lead worship for 42 people, let alone 4,200! This album does, however, have several qualities. Geraldine Latty certainly let God use her gift of worship. The songs are definitely very appropriate and the event did exactly what it aimed to: "to release the potential of women for the cause of Christ."
