Four Days Late have been around since 2000 when they started as the worship band for a campus service in the Jacksonville State University. 'Waiting' is their latest project and showcases their songwriting and arrangements well. With a strong rock feel, the songs are catchy and getting a lot of airplay Stateside particularly the opening "Glorious King". Also notable is the closing title track which connects on a number of different levels, and "Revealed", a song about Heaven written in 30 minutes in a pickup truck! The music and arrangements are good with the occasional "I am sure I have heard that before" moments that you tend to get in this style of worship material. Unfortunately this results in nothing on 'Waiting' that stands out from the crowd of similar albums available at the moment but is still a good listen.
