Fred is a determined singer/songwriter having produced three albums and two EPs since 2009. This latest offering stays loyal to his acoustic roots and is a collection of self-penned songs with a mix of rhythms from the gutsy loop pedal layered "Hold My Ghost" to the emotive "Eastbourne" and "Way I Changed Myself". The tracks speak of experiences of a young and maturing adult from topics about his girlfriend "All My Love", his parents "All Down To You", his faith "Higher Places" and even the sensual "Your Eyes". One criticism of the last CD 'Good Morning Sunshine' was the lack of a catchy hook in any of the songs but this isn't an issue with these new melodies. His relentless live performance itinerary will endear him to many listeners and although the songs can appear a little raw at times, his earnest and vulnerable delivery and undoubted talent have produced an excellent album that grows with every listen.
