Compared to other ex-Commissioned members, Fred Hammond seems to have gone from strength to strength since leaving the band in 1994. Several acclaimed projects with Radical For Christ, as well as popping up frequently on other labels and other people's albums with his trademark pumping bass guitar, have served to keep Big Fred in the public eye, and this album is another step along the road. This is over 73 minutes of hot, hot, hot gospel, so hot, in fact, that I'm surprised my CD player didn't melt! Fred has songwriting credits on every track but one, there's oodles of that bass guitar all the way through, and Fred and all concerned give it plenty from the start of track one to the end of track 15. Definitely one to seek out.
