Frost At Midnight describe their music as "pretentious, neo-classical, Welsh, poetic, lyrical, Celtic, passionate, French, ironic, piano-based or guitar-driven folk" - make what you will of that! This single track CD is a song based on the biblical text of Isaiah 46:4 and the writer describes it as "reminiscent of the famous 'Footprints' text but without being slavishly dependent on it." Unfortunately this song is slavishly dependent on the music to which it is set, that being "The Londonderry Air" or "Danny Boy" as it is better known. Although the lyrics are deep and thought provoking they are somewhat overshadowed by the melody that will always have the listener's mind drifting to the aforementioned song. I'm sure this bunch of musicians have much more to offer than this.
