How is it that everywhere you look in the States there’s a hot choice strutting their funky stuff? This album was recorded live in the Louisiana Superdome, usually host to the New Orleans Saints American Football team, and the choir let rip with appropriate abandon. Truth to tell, this is just like most of the other choir albums I’ve heard over the years, but I can’t fault it on production or content: BeBe Winans and Marvin Winans have songwriting and vocal credits, the soloists are well up to scratch, and everybody seems to be havin’ church, even on the slow numbers. This is serious praise and worship; worth considering.
