This is an album you will either love or hate. Children's music is at best an acquired taste, however I admit that this has appeal for me as I am old enough to remember some of these songs the first time round when my daughter enjoyed many of these tracks when she was very young! Let me state now that these are all brand new recordings with the Gaither Vocal Band's current line up, however it still evokes memories of taking such music round to the church to play as background music in Junior Church and Sunday school parties! I think the album is a good idea as some of these songs such as "Jesus, I Heard You Had A Big House" and my favourite from years ago "Only A Boy Named David" have not lost their appeal. How could anybody resist such lively versions as "Jesus Hold My Hand" and "God Loves To Talk To Little Boys When They're Fishing"?. There is also a very strong version of "Jesus Loves Me". Some folk may not like some of the children's voices that join in on some of these tracks. If you want a good lively album of children's music, I would recommend it, but the many fans of the Gaithers may want to listen to this before purchase.
