This EP offers four songs by a Canadian associate pastor and is his first foray as an independent artist. "Bow Down" is a melodic worship track extoling the majesty of God while the title song is a simple expression of our need to break free from shackles that bind us. The third and fourth songs are versions of the same Christmas song "Heaven Come To Earth" with shades of the perennial "O Holy Night" and the obligatory Christmas bells. The main problem is that all the tracks here feel laboured and lack focus so that Gavin's move into releasing recordings for public consumption is unlikely to extend far beyond his local church.
