Gawvi is clearly developing his sound on this, his second EP. The infectious dance tunes are still there but there are more moments when he slows it down and brings the focus onto the message of the lyrics. "Desire" opens the record with a classic dance sound of stabbing synths sweeping across the verses over a simple click beat as it builds but feels like it's holding something back as you never quite get the satisfaction of the big kick in. This slightly restrained feel continues on "Still Got Me", a track dedicated to Gawvi's wife and featuring staccato strings plucked over the verses with a snare drum beat building to a swinging Latin vibe in the chorus. The collaborations work well with singers Darrein Safron, Jocelyn Bowman and T-Jay all adding their bit. "Don't Have To Feel Sorry" is the highlight of the record starting with an echoing, atmospheric intro with a strong bass line carrying you through the track complemented by a solid beat and ringing synth chords. The vocals of Darrein Safron stand out providing a warm, mellow feel complemented by the rapping of John Givez who contributes a verse to the track.
