Okay, I promise. No lawn jokes! Moving swiftly on, this is Kiwi Geoff's fifth album, which, he says, was recorded on his computer due to financial constraints. This being the case, he's done a remarkable job. With the exception of a couple of questionable balances in the mix, the album veers between nicely layered ballads and out and out rockers - cut two "Rescue Them" is particularly crunchy. The subject matter has been largely inspired by Geoff's coming to know the Lord 10 years ago and while he hasn't the greatest voice in history, 'Salvation Day' is a surprisingly good listen.
