This Black Country four-piece describe their music as "hard edge pop" and they're clearly keen to make a difference in the pop rock culture. Having said that, it's hard to enthuse over this initial offering. "Suicide" features a sub-metal riff and a song that consists in the repetitive exhortation "Suicide.don't do it." "18.11" is slower and better, though it tries too hard to build a dramatic climax, while track three, "Time And Again" has a banal melody and a contrived change of tempo. Paul Smith is an above average singer but the band the need to work on their material.
