Plain white cover, motif of a cross drawn in the middle, artist given as Glenmore Leslie with "all songs sung by Valry Morgan" written below. "A collection of gospel songs" inscribed on the cover and no details of anything whatsoever within. Unpromising start would you say? Then you come to the music, which initially is basic country music as bad as it gets, just so predictable it's almost unbelievable. Presumably it's West Indian in origin though recorded here or in JA I know not. Valry Morgan's quite sweet voice is sadly wasted on such poor material. Some of the efforts are more pop-based, though often still country flavoured. Any better? Don't ask. Sorry to say it, but this tape takes shallowness to new depths. Try again.
