Gordon is, to my mind, simply one of the very finest Christian musicians on the planet! The very much in demand pianist is in constant demand in the Nashville scene accompanying many of the top names in country and Southern gospel. Gordon is also a very fine singer and here sings powerfully of the love and grace of God. A new composition "Holy Spirit" opens up this album, before leading into a bevy of gospel classics including "Amazing Grace", "When We All Get To Heaven", "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" and "Power In The Blood". If emotion counts for anything in music you will have to go a long way to hear anything more heartfelt than these moving interpretations of the much loved evergreens. Towards the end of this truly excellent album you will find an original composition, co-written with Lyn Rowell, "Only Jesus Can Heal This Hurting World", and that too is deeply touching. An album I thoroughly recommend.
