If re-incarnation had held any truth, one thing I would pray never to come back as would be GK's pen! Just when you thought it would be safe to bang the banners into mothballs, up pops 'Crown Him' like another Rocky movie. I can't claim to be enamoured with GK's music or lyrics for that matter, but no doubt this collection will be as easy to learn as the other marches. With lyrics like "Oooh heaven's in my heart" (x4), "All of God's people here say yes" (x4) and "Lord have mercy on us" (x6) there isn't much depth to the songs but at least any listeners should soon get the gist. This march sprang out of a two week prayer walk and is based on Psalm 24 and a purpose of giving honour to Jesus before a watching world. The piano arrangements in this book are workmanlike and guitarists should have few problems as most songs are in guitar keys and easy to read.
