This album, the fourth in the 'Graham Kendrick Collection' series, focuses on prayer and intercession. Compiled from a selection of recent recordings, the 15 songs are given with the aim of resourcing the praying Church. Each song is given a basic unfussy backing of subtle guitars and keyboards which could easily be replicated in other churches. My only niggle about the recording is that if the listener is unfamiliar with the songs, at times it is hard to hear the words, which have been lost in the choir. Perhaps it would benefit from Kendrick's own voice being mixed to the fore? Other than that, Graham continues his undoubted gift for songwriting from the heart and has picked this compilation with care.
