Well, there must be a market for this kind of thing: this is a re-release of 1992's 'Kendrick Gold: The Collection'.  The album contains 13 good, competent arrangements of Kendrick's standards - "We Are Here To Praise You", "All Heaven Waits", "The Servant King", etc.  And they're played well by an orchestra of skilful musicians under the watchful eye of Robin Thompson-Clarke, Christopher Norton and Les Moir.  But there's no real passion in the arrangements and it's little more than Christian muzak, something to have playing in the background of your Alpha supper.  Slick, but sterile.
