Well, I liked it - and so did my three kids. This is a quality children's worship album which wisely steers well clear of sugary kids' choirs in favour of a group of youngsters who are clearly enjoying themselves and giving it all they've got. The lead vocals are good and clear and the lyrics seem pitched just about right in terms of language and idiom. By and large, the music's good, too. There are 17 new songs on the disc - some upbeat barnstormers and some more reflective and "worshipful" ballads. As well as the performance disc, there's a second disc with backing tracks, acetate masters, guitar lead sheets and melody lines so that you can try the songs out in your own setting. Well worth a try, even if the congregation don't pick it up the first time through.

Product Description
Containing 17 new songs this album aims to appeal to the 7-11 age group. The total length of the album is 54 minutes making the average length of each song a shade over 3 minutes – thus ensuring the pace and variation required to appeal to youngsters!

Using for the core band tried and tested musicians who have appeared on previous UK projects, the quality of musicianship is second to none. The band is ably assisted by a very lively chorus of 120 kids ranging from age 7 to 12. Lead vocals also include youngsters (Hannah Foster aged 12, Emily Foster aged 15 and Jodie Frye aged 15) which add to the authenticity of the project and support Vineyard’s belief that God can use kids as well as adults in ministry.

There is a real diversity of styles contained within this album with up-beat rocky songs, bluesy numbers, a rap, slower ballads and even a hint of Caribbean carnival!
