If rock bands are in their element when they play live then Hammertown would be electric in my home town's metal pub, their sound was made for it. The pub is small, has saw dust on the floor and hardly anybody under the age of 25 in it. Hammertown is classic old skool "Rock", which is fine, because people who aren't too comfortable with the nu-metal scene and like wearing studded leather need music aimed at them too. The production on this CD doesn't do them justice but if you pass a bar in Jackson where Hammertown are playing, check them out.
