Whilst previous releases by Happy Mouse Recordings have been a bit hit and miss, this collection of songs aimed at little ones from birth to age three is of a remarkably high standard and certainly appealed to our six month old daughter without it sending her parents round the twist. The overall aim here is to introduce toddlers to concepts such as God as creator, his omnipotence and the friendship of Jesus and songs like the title track (complete with a brave a cappella doo wop backdrop) and "God's Wonderful World" fit the bill perfectly. Old chestnuts such as "The Wise Man Built His House Upon The Rock" and "All Things Bright And Beautiful" are wisely given a makeover to keep them fresh and the makers of this release have avoided patronising their target audience by taking the time to employ proper instruments as well alternating adult vocals with the surprisingly palatable cutesy kids ones. Adults may struggle with the concept of farm animals praising God in the delightfully silly "Mr Cow" - let alone the obvious gender impossibilities of said bovine creature - but kids will love this particular track not to mention the rest of this high quality release.
