Harold is Harold Chaala, Zambian-born former member of South African gospel group Cornerstone, and this mellow soul selection is largely self-penned and has been superbly produced by Dino Costaras, with deft percussion grooves and some sweet guitar lines courtesy of Ray Green, and a touch of rap in places. Harold also mixes in some Zulu singing at times. The album is already causing quite a stir in South Africa and I really hope it has an opportunity to do likewise over here as this is super classy, whilst not in any way pulling any lyrical punches.
