A collection of songs truly targeted at the hurting. Victims of abuse, alcoholics, addicts and others will find much in these tenderly sung and nicely produced songs which in the main are strong in melody, lyric and performance. Concerning the latter, my copy of the album is sleeveless so the excellent male and female lead singers remain unidentified. Occasionally, the song quality slips, the country "Bought With A Price" has a too stereotypical melody to work. Also a similarity in tempo and piano-dominated arrangements make the album a bit dull to listen to at one sitting. But on the whole, there's enough creativity wedded to the serious ministry intent to ensure that for some, these will indeed be healing songs.
