Firstly Heather and her band are very talented; they are more of a folk/rock band and Heather's vocals fit in well. The first track sounded very familiar and The Corrs sprang to mind. But once the drums had kicked in the whole mix went to pot, and this is reflected through the album. The overall recording, mixing and production is poor, vocals are very sparse mainly on the upbeat tracks and arrangements disjointed. I think they have tried to get the earthy sound but instead it sounds like a demo all through the album. A good producer and more studio time could make it sound great. As it stands though, this is below average.
