If Amy Grant's rise to megastardom began with a privately recorded tape of her songs, then Helen Jayne could be next! This three song taster is worth searching out if you like your music in the Bev-erley Craven style. The title | track is a slow ballad with a tune I you'll soon be humming. The recording is pretty good and I the production is fine for a private effort. The lyrics are, perhaps, the main area that need working on - she sings the words "nothing can separate" 23 times if you include the 47 second ending! But then, even Elton John needs Bernie Taupin to write his lyrics, but Helen has a delicious voice, a good ear for hooks and we're all going to be hearing a lot, lot more of this lady
