Along with O'Landa Draper and Kirk Franklin, "Hez" is another of those young choir leaders currently riding on a wave of popularity and judging from this album, most of it is well deserved. I can't decide which is louder - the audience or the jackets Hez and his boys have on. You just have to admire the way the choir and the various lead vocalists (who include BeBe Winans) take a 12 line song lyric and make it last for six minutes or even longer and credit must go to Reggie Young for some brilliant bass playing, especially at the beginning of "Make It To That city". The guys from Commissioned join them for the grand finale, but it's really Hez's show. If you're looking for a choir album that's high on the feel good factor, this is for you.
