Howard Williams is a Lincoln-based worship leader and songwriter though he is probably better known on the national scene for the numerous albums he has produced out of dB Studios. Intriguingly, it's Chris and Dan Bowater who are the producers here on Howard's debut six-song EP. '06' kicks off with rocking guitars that stream into a staccato rhythm, grasping your attention instantly. "Steadfast Saviour" would slot comfortably on a Snow Patrol album. Bass-driven "Holy Is The Lord Almighty" has choir and strings taking the worshipper to heavenly worship, whilst "You Do All Things Well"' sits comfortably with an atmospheric organ and sustained synth leading into a U2 echoing guitar. Many an infectious chorus is stamped on this EP with Williams's vocals holding confidence on every song. Delirious? influences entwine on "I Am Humbled By The Cross" with powerful, strong lyrics. The closing track effortlessly stirs emotions on the piano-fronted "Your Presence". Very impressive.
