This album features a solo piano giving very, very, very slow renditions of such classics as "Blessed Assurance", "Lead Me To Calvary" and "The Old Rugged Cross". The style, although quite florid, is ponderous and will have you nodding off and spilling your cocoa before you can say "Liberace". Hymnody reduced to the level of muzak.
