The Hymns Just For You series is simply Brentwood taking the opportunity to collect together some of their most successful instrumental performances onto one CD. So if you've brought some of their albums before be careful you're not buying twice! As the title suggests, this one is jazz and excellent jazz it is too. Jack Jezzro, Brentwood Jazz Quartet and Sam Levine manage to create a faultlessly smooth MOR jazz sound that is easy on the ears. Top musicianship (though the sleeve doesn't give a clue as to who is responsible for individual tracks) and imaginative arrangements to these famous tunes. "Amazing Grace" is outstanding though my favourite is "We've A Story To Tell The Nations" with its fluid piano and acoustic bass solo. Nice! This is the mellow melodic jazz for relaxation with familiar tunes wafting by in new incarnations. Occasionally it does wander off into bland lift music territory but then, if you've had a hard day this would be the perfect soundtrack to a glass of wine by the fire!

Are there any more cd's like this one? I walk every day to this cd and would love to have more...same style, same group (if possible) or something like it.
