A peaceful relaxing instrumental album with the tunes of 24 hymns played on keyboards and various orchestral instruments. The musicians doing the playing are the David Shelley Ensemble though the powers that be at Kingsway decided that wasn't information worthy of inclusion on the front sleeve. The music is gently played very much in the style that a church organist might play at the end of a church service as people are leaving while the hymns on this 2 CD package ("The Lord's My Shepherd", "O God, Our Help In Ages Past", "Just As I Am", "Jesus Lover Of My Soul") are the usual favourites. This package is ideal for playing unobtrusively in the background either at church functions or at home.
