Rooted in ICF Zurich, a non-denominational church focused on church planting across Europe, ICF Worship is a movement passionate about building up the local church. With more than a decade of music projects under their belt, 'Only Jesus' is their latest album release and was birthed at the 2018 annual ICF leadership conference. The majority of the tracks are in English, however the album does include two songs sung in French by worship leader Matt Marvane, "Mon Roi" and "Christ Est La Lumiére", the latter of which is a beautiful and stripped down song of adoration. Continuing this international theme, Sidney Mohede & JPCC from Indonesia also feature a couple of their tracks on the album, and the title track was co-written by Sidney, Debora Sita, Dave Kull and Dominik Laim, which captures the heart of worship currently resounding throughout Europe. In contrast to the last few songs, the first half of 'Only Jesus' is steeped in pop synth and driving drums, creating dance worship anthems out of "Alive" and "Speechless". The undeniable theme for this new worship collection is found in the album title and is reflected throughout the lyrics of each song. Overall, ICF Worship have created another solid offering to help equip the Church.
