Ian is a singer/songwriter from Hastings. Let’s make no bones about this. This is a fairly low-budget recording, which unfortunately when combined with Ian’s unusually reedy, and - dare I say it - weak voice, makes for rather uncomfortable listening. The songs are pleasant enough worship tracks, if rather unremarkable, and it’s clear that a lot of effort has gone into this 11 track album, but as I’ve said so many times, in a world which is saturated with such releases, you really have to do something outstanding to make an impact, and I’m afraid that Ian Edwards hasn’t.

I think Steve Best needs to listen to Ian's latest material...he'll regret writing such a negative review all those years ago as Ian won a competition and is releasing his debut mainstream album this year!

I havent heard this CD, but this review seems really harsh - I saw Ian live when he was part of The Monday Band back in 2005 and he had a really unique and strong vocal. He is still active and won a national unsigned competition last year!
