With so many trivial and mind-numbing, repetitive pop songs available at the flick of a switch nowadays, it is so refreshing to actually sit and listen to the deliciously detailed lyrics penned by worship craftsman, Ian White. The Scottish worship old hand sets out 11 lyrically rich tracks, mostly composed by himself, on this new CD. The title track is quite possibly the best song featured on the album, an upbeat number setting the scene for all that follows. There are also gentle melodies heard on the likes of "Only By Grace" which are accompanied by powerful truths making this CD not only easy to listen to but also as faith building words are poured forth there is a reassuring and strengthening taking place for the believer. Another standout song is the lovely "Something New", which was written by noted songwriter Chris Eaton. With many previous highly acclaimed recordings already under his belt it can't be all that easy to come up with fresh-sounding songs but I reckon Ian should be proud of 'Move That Foot' because he certainly still has "it"!

Yes, don't be put off by the rather dull cover - this is an album you will listen to again and again.
Partly for the depth of the lyrics - partly for the freshness of the music - and partly for the absolutely superb playing and singing.
Phil Crabbe (drums) and Mark Edwards (keys) are names that crop up on many an album sleeve. Their playing here is both flawless and inspired - check out Track 2 "Clean, clean water" for starters.
