When I first heard that this was a live worship album I was disappointed. Having been one of the few, seemingly, to consider lan's last full studio album an absolute classic, the thought of the veteran Scottish songsmith moving into Kendrick territory seemed distinctly unappealing. But any suspicion that I harboured that Ian was going to offer the great CD buying public one of those dreary, production-line praise albums where lyrics are stylised cliches and melodies repetitive enough for maximum crowd participation was utterly unwarranted. Ian achieves here that most difficult of tasks, producing songs that are simple enough for congregational worship while avoiding banality. In fact some of lan's finest ever songwriting is evident here. The song "Encounter" was triggered by a sermon given in lan's local church by the Rev Anne Stewart. It's a corker. Five of the tracks here originally appeared on Kingsway's Worship Together series, including the superb title track, but the new stuff recorded at the Lochgelly Centre Theatre in Fife with a superb band including Richard Causon, Neil Costello and Dave Fitzgerald is, if anything, stronger. A powerfully anointed worship experience and another great album.

I first heard Ian White's music when I was 7 or 8. My dad brought home one of his tapes from his missionary trips (my dad's a missionary) in 2000. I clearly remember Pre-Revival days... Didn't really know what the words meant then, but I loved the song... Now 20 years later, I'm looking it up. Have the full album on Tidal now. Blessings

I first heard Ian White in 1999 in my second year at University and fell in love with his music all the way to my final year in 2002. My roommate got to love the music too & we sung the songs together on repeated mode especially "morning by morning......". Unfortunately I lost the tapes and I am desperately looking for those inspiring and uplifting songs. How can i have his abulms?
