Mississippi resident Indiana's early musical experience came from seeing her father Junious Norfleet's performances with his brothers on Chicago's long-running gospel TV series Jubilee Showcase. This gospel pedigree has rubbed off on the lady and Indiana's debut CD is a stylish, well produced affair which gives plenty of space for her expressively powerful vocals. Songs were written either by the singer or by T B Robinson with two of them collaborating on three of the eight tracks and show a concern to be faithful along with a sense of gratitude for all that God has done in saving us. Like much contemporary gospel music there is a strong R&B streak throughout, heavy on the bass with keyboards to the fore. Highlights are the full gospel of "I'm So Glad" and the mellow, funky "I Can't Do Without You" whilst, to be honest, the title track and the Norfleet's rewrite of "Nothing But The Blood" don't really do much to enhance the set. It isn't an exceptional release but is a competent and listenable collection of songs.
