Series of albums, particularly series of soft pop/easy listening albums marketed by American praise and worship companies often run out of steam long before they've reached their eighth or ninth volume. But this series has hearteningly held up, thanks in part to a strong concept - encouraging listeners to learn the Word through Scripture-based songs - and in part by bringing in the finest quality session singers to sing the material. On this set you've got, among others, Lenny LeBlanc, Craig Smith, Chris Rodriguez and the deliciously-voiced Lisa Bevill. Some snappy arrangements too while the Peter Penrose-led "Speak To One Another", by putting Ephesians 5:19-20 to music, really sums up the ethos of the whole 'Scripture Memory Songs' series.
