As the title suggest, this debut EP is a self-promotional package from a new, urban talent from East London. The first two tracks run like a brief history with confident rapping about a struggle from sin to that of trusting in God. "Warfare" (featuring Tha Lost Child) brings the listener bang up-to-date, with a battle cry rap against the works of the Devil. There are two short instrumentals of tracks not included on this EP, plus a couple of dark and moody remixes. J-Silver's rapping talent is deep and heavy, sometimes overwhelming the production (also by the artist). "Warfare" works best, because of the interplay between the two voices. I hope for a future album, J-Silver will consider co-production and some more guest vocalists. A brave beginning.
