Black Country-based Jacob is one of those teenagers for whom life has not been great and this has given him a depth to his songwriting that belies his age. A recurrent theme is that of a life that does not fit finding a God who accepts. From the pop guitar intro of "Finding Home", through the sparse "You're Not Alone" to the much rockier "Phoenix" this is explored in depth before moving on to the straight call to "Let Him In". "Right Notes" is as catchy a piece of pop as I have heard in a long time - the "right notes, wrong places, right people, wrong faces" hook will stay rattling around your head all day. As with all songwriters there are some bits that don't quite gel - in Jacob's case there is a tendency to have slightly too many words for the space the music allows, but the sincerity and passion shines through and quickly overcomes any of these shortcomings. A great debut, this will touch your heart and get you looking forward to the next Jacob Lloyd release.

Jacob Lloyd is an incredibly advanced singer/songwriter. His lyrics portray the emotions of a grown experienced man, not a youth. His songwriting is simple yet catchy, also brilliant in places. One to watch out for, genius in the making........He has the confidence to share his faith with others. His lyrics melt my heart:) x

Jacob Lloyd is a singer/songwriter. He has had a rough ride for his youth, but used song writing and faith as his way to grow and stay strong and is now using his gifts to inspire and share with others. Fantastic album 5*****!!!
