Jade is an award winning Australian singer/songwriter and 'A Better Day' from 2003 is her debut album. The well written songs come from the heart and expose Jade's personal journey with God without ever being twee or irrelevant. This is helped by some great arrangements and skilful musicianship and though Jade's voice can get a little thin at times it never grates and carries the passion of the lyrics well. From the opening title track looking at how we all put masks on to cover our real self, through a call to reaching out with God's love, "Won't Someone Tell Them", to the closing gospel track "You Are Not Alone", the songs all carry a strong message and sneak it in through catchy arrangements and crisp production.
