This is the record label debut album from a Seattle-based singer, worship leader and songwriter. Jamie gained a degree from the famed Berklee College Of Music and was on her way to a career in pop music. However, whilst at college the singer was introduced to Jesus through a friend and her life changed forever. The album has a fresh, contemporary pop worship sound and the first track "Love Rains Down" is a hooky, likeable song. Jaime's vocals are silky smooth and from the heart. "Hear My Worship" is Jaime's cry for God to be at the centre of her worship, whilst "Reason To Live" sums it all up: "You, you give me reason to live/All of my heart I will give/There is no other that compares anywhere." "Lift Up The Name" features a pleasant duet with noted artist Scott Krippayne and "You" is a beautiful worship ballad featuring just Jaime and a piano which really highlights how good her voice is. The CD features a bonus track, "Heart Of Heaven", produced by David Zaffiro, which is a bit edgier and it would have been good to hear Jaime belting out a few more like this. Overall, an enjoyable listen.
