A slow, sinuous funk groove opener "Never Seen" defiantly proclaims the absolute dependability of God with switched leads Jack Yates Jr and Rachel Hurst hollering up a storm. But next up is a choir ballad "Faithful Is He" similar to the kind of over elaborate vocal arrangements and lush accompaniments beloved by Richard Smallwood. Next up is a cover of the old Youngbloods '60s anthem "Get Together". And so the mixture of musical approaches continues throughout. Lead singers Demarcus Green, Angela Stewart and Lakesha Clark are all pretty strong and some of the arrangements are well programmed modern R&B. Worth investigating even though somewhat unfocussed.
