One can tell from listening to this that American Janet has very much written from her heart, and the CD isn't as bad as the outer packaging would indicate. In fact I think Janet could do better if she plumped for a better sleeve and tweaked the arrangements to stop them sounding quite so cheesy. As it is though "Suddenly Single" and "The Woman In The Moon" have one cringing. This is a lady with a big heart for God who so wants others to hear what he is saying to her and through her that she has taken a big plunge out into the music scene even though her voice isn't of the highest quality. All in all, an album with no appeal outside Janet's existing batch of supporters.
