There's more! Volume 2 offers another 31 songs, still reputedly action-filled, this time they've tackled the Psalms, but, with the best will in the world, the result is just as poor though the kiddywinkers who do the singing, the Kid Connection try hard. I've performed mental gymnastics, struggling to make every allowance, longing for freedom to be Mr Nice Guy, but really it won't do. Ms McMahan-Wilson is obviously attempting a worthwhile task, but the total lack of ideas or basic musicality has to receive the definite thumbs-down. Of course, there's a valuable role for children's music, but only if quality is in evidence, even when catering for the very young.
