This five-song EP from Eureka, California-based Jeff is lyrically worship-driven and musically presents a deep treasure chest of nuggets, layer on layer, which will give you a fresh experience each time you listen. The first track, "Everything Grace", is to my ears the weakest track in relation to the rest of the CD but on lesser efforts would still shine as a well written composition. The second, "Journey Into You", demonstrates excellent production (Jeremy Edwardson), deep and insightful songwriting by Jeff - "You enter like an off-shore wind/How you love to show compassion, wonder." The chorus, "I have found you Jesus, now I must go and find you/Lover of my soul you sustain me/Lover of my soul you invite me to journey into you," can be unpacked in numerous ways in contemplation. All this is underpinned with guitar playing echoing The Edge. Track three, "Rest", is at a slightly slower pace but delivers the same top-drawer quality. "You Are Love" is simply the song of a man in awe of his Saviour - you can almost see the mouth wide open and the jaw dropping! Song five breaks the mould set by the previous tracks with an infectious drumbeat and backing vocals which infiltrate the track. Outstanding!

An album born through intimacy and relationship with the Lord. Jeff has a great voice and a gift in stirring listeners through his music. Go for it.

Give this album a listen, there is a lot more going on right underneath the surface than you might think. It is a wonderful mixture of emotion, melody, and truth. You will not be disappointed with this album!
