You can imagine that Jeff Deyo is the kind of guy who could write the most absurd nonsense lyric and still make it sound powerful, important and extremely catchy. Fortunately his third studio solo album does not contain nonsense lyrics. The lyrics are fairly simple, yet deeply personal, grounded in spirit and truth, and irritatingly singable. Set to a suitably rocking soundtrack, Jeff has created a great modern worship album, full of anthemic choruses and praise to God. "So In Awe" and "Unveil" fit the former, while "Glory" and "You Are God" fulfil the latter. "Love Of God" is a bit clichéd and predictable, but still manages to maintain that annoying catchiness that sets Jeff Deyo apart from other rock-praise artists. You may not find anything truly groundbreaking here, but I believe that this is Jeff's best solo work to date.
