Sheffield's Jenny Pegg has released her second EP which brings a rock edge to her sound with ringing guitar and keyboard lines in abundance, building a firm foundation for her strong vocals delivering well written and direct songs. The standout track, however, "The Kingdom Of His Love", just pairs Jenny's vocals with Josh Cana's haunting piano. The production and arrangements are from the always reliable Resound Media crew and although everything works just fine there isn't a song here which would catch the ear of most of Britain's Christian radio stations, let alone the oversees ones. But there is no doubting that Jenny has considerable talent.
