Whooeee! Listen I am no easy touch as a reviewer, but from the first scratcy FX on Lady Jill's intro “Orbit” I was sold. I put this album in my car CD player and the eject button seemed to go into malfunction, the 10 tracks followed each other as effortlessly as one wave follows another up the sandy beach. You want powerhouse vocals? Try “Long Way Home”. Like a bit of sensitivity then hey, there’s “Bleed”. This is a lady with gutsy attitude and a vocal range to back her up but are “we ever going to solve this mystery” that it's highly unlikely that any of these tracks will get a sniff of the UK charts? Listen to Jill's cover of “If I Ever Lose My Faith In You”, the sound of the underground with “Another Revolution”. Her self-titled debut album received critical acclaim, I never heard it so that's all from me - I've got to go find me a copy.
