I wasn't sure if I should put this under the heading of children's or pop, but because it comes with stickers I decided on the former! As always Jim ministers powerfully. "This Is Love" is inspired by "Jesus Loves Me This I Know", which touched Jim's life as a child and still does now. The title track is also inspired by Eph 3:18 and Ps 8. In fact may of the tracks have been inspired by parts of the Bible, which is always really cool. I must admit though that one of the most powerful tracks is "Lord I Love You" written by Jim's nine year old daughter Rebekah. Who could not be moved by a nine year old writing "Lord I'm desperate for your power"? Seven year old Jordan also gets in on the act with "God Loves Me", showing a depth of insight into who Jesus is in the lives of this whole family. Crisp pop production also makes this an album older ones would enjoy.

Always loved Jim's tunes - but just a thought - have to say a 9 year old saying 'I'm desperate for your power' actually sounds a little weird to me . . . like some those kids in the 'Jesus Camp' documentary saying they converted at 5years old because they wanted 'more from life' . . . What that says to me is that they've heard a thing said enough times they can say it themselves. Doesn't take away from the heart fo the track tho.

Anyways - great review, I'll get some of our kids team on to it!
