Australian songwriter Jim Turner wrote the songs here and Elizabeth Geyer sings them. This seven-song mini-album uncovers a real journey, even from Turner's first meeting with Abi and Bill Risby at a small town bar, to laying the tracks down at Australia's The Music Cellar studio. Elizabeth Geyer's vocals on "To Walk By Faith" have an innocent, pure quality about them and the chorus sentiment has a modern psalm feel, ("To walk by faith with nothing doubting/Is the hardest thing of all/Please Lord please bless me/To heed the spirit's call"). Risby's piano work is good but a few atmospheric pads and backing harmonies wouldn't have gone amiss in the production. "Who Will Stand" finishes the journey and the verse lyrics show the hope Christians carry if we obey God. There is no doubt over the heart behind the project and this is a pleasant, if low key, listen.
