There’s no easy way to review a project like this. Jimi, from Newport, Gwent, clearly thinks it worthwhile to set up a website for his musical efforts and produce ‘Space Cadet’, based, it would appear, on a fictional tale of a mission to Mars. If that sounds interesting, the music here definitely isn’t. Jimi has a barely adequate voice and his accompaniments are all bedroom demo quality without the slightest hint of programming flair. With such weak vocals and lacklustre accompaniments any quality of the material is completely obliterated. Not a good experience.
